Mornings, After-School & Afternoon, Homeschool, Saturday + Adult Evening

The Vinings School of Art offers courses in Fine Arts (Drawing, Painting, Sculpture), Language
Arts/Spanish & French, and Dramatic Arts/Acting for Kids, and Music Theory/Learning to Play
Keyboard/Piano. All children's classes are $15 or less for a 1 hr. class, & art supplies are
included for art classes. Students may take a single session Art Class at our drop-in rates based on
availability or sign up for a 4 class or two back to back class package. Piano classes start
between8/30 and 9/13 and run through December 16 & Jan. through May as a course. Our schedule
runs in synch with another school, The Studio Atlanta Dance, which is located a few doors down in the
same building. You can arrange to have your child escorted to or picked up at either Studio Atlanta
Dance or Kumon, located in the same building as us in Ivy Walk, a few doors down.

Registration for fall classes is going on now!
No monthly fees, make-ups available for 1 hour Art or Spanish Language classes only and
only if you call in advance to reschedule as opposed to just not showing up.
Fees for 4 one hour art or for language classes that are scheduled in advance are $50 first
child, $45 sibling. Single session one hour drop-in's are $15 1st child, $12 sibling, art supplies
included. Parents & nannies are always welcome to participate, but are not required to stay.

These classes run year round, single session drop-in's or 4 week plans available.
$15 for a single session, $50 for every 4 one hour classes that you take (not a monthly fee)
Saturday morning Art + Art 10am-noon or Spanish + Art 10am-noon is $85 for 8 hours of class
Toddler Spanish from 9:10am to 9:55am (option to take Art after Spanish)
Spanish 10-11am age 4 1/2 - 6 (option to take Art after Spanish)
NEW CLASS Spanish for ages 7 to 11 from 11am to noon
Toddler Art 10-11am (ages 3-4) and Younger Child Art 11am to noon (ages 4-6)
Fine Art 10am - 11am, 11am to 12, or 10am-12 (1 or 2 hr. option) ages 7 to 12

ADULT FINE ART CLASSES and ADULT SPANISH LANGUAGE
Adult Art Classes 7:15-8:45pm Various Classes: Drawing, Watercolors, Acrylic Painting Styles
(limit 7 students per class) $154 for the course--7 classes of 1.5 hours each, 1 night per week
Make-ups available for missed classes if you call, and then Wednesday students can do a make-up on
a Thursday night or vice versa during the course. All art supplies for classes included and the
instructor does the clean up. All courses Include one 16 x 20 canvas w/acrylic paint.
Next Wednesday night course Sept 29-Nov. 10, and next Thursday night course Sept. 30-Nov. 11

Adult Spanish Language--call for date of free info session/meet instructor preview night
Limit 7 students per class, course is eight Tuesdays 7:15-8:30pm from Sept. 28 to Nov. 16
Course is $160 plus the cost of buying your own new or used book, usually another $10-$25

PROGRAMS

4 Week Packages: We offer one and two hour classes. These classes must be prepaid during the first
week of the 4 weeks. The 4 weeks do not have to coincide with a month--it's just every 4 classes.

Single Session Art Class Drop-In for Kids: You may call our school to see if there is space available,
or you may come by in person about 10 minutes before a class to enroll in a single session. If capacity
is available, your child might be able to join a class at a slightly higher rate than the monthly fee.

Special Courses: For special programs such as adult Spanish, we offer fixed prices for the full course.

POLICIES

Make up policy: For students in a monthly Fine Arts or Spanish class, we allow two make-up sessions
per month. However, once you have scheduled the make-up, we are unable to schedule other
make-ups or make-ups for missed make-up sessions! In order to schedule a make-up session, you
must call at least 30 minutes before the class you are scheduled to attend begins. Make-ups must be
done within 30 days of the missed session.

Class end time: Our classes finish about 5 minutes before the hour. At this time, students can store
unfinished art work, gather art work to be taken home, and help collect the supplies that they used
during class. A late fee will be charged for parents that do not pick up their children on time. Children
must be picked up during the last 5 minutes of the class, and no later than on the hour.

Refunds: All student fees are non-refundable.

4 weeks/4 class packages (does not necessarily coincide with a month)
Art, weekly 1 and 2 hour class:es (paid monthly) for Art+Art, Art+Spanish, or Art+French
1 hr. weekly class 1st Child $50/every 4 one hour classes, 2nd Child $45/4 one hour classes
2 hr. weekly class 1st Child $85/every 4 + 4 = 8 classes, 2nd Child $75/8 one hour classes

Spanish or French, weekly 1 hour class:
1st Child 4 week package, $50, 2nd Child, $45 for 4 one hour classes
1 hour Art and 1 hour Spanish class
1st Child 4 week 2 hrs. per week package, $85 for 8 hrs. class, 2nd Child $75 for 8 hrs. class

Special Courses
Drama: Children's Characters & Acting For Kids Course
4 sessions of 1 hour classes, $60 per every 4 classes

Music/Piano: limit 4 students of a similar age to each class
4 sessions of 1 hour classes, $60 per every 4 classes

We charge for a 4 week class package that is like a monthly fee only more fair. If there are 3 classes
in a given month due to holidays, the fee is 75% of the regular monthly 4 week rate. Accordingly, for
rare months with 5 weeks or 5 classes, there is an additional charge. There is a “once-in-a-lifetime”
$10.00 registration fee for each new student. If you are paying the one-time single session art
class drop-in rate, we do not charge for registration until you decide to enroll in a 4 week class
package at the lower class price.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
We accept debit cards and VISA and Mastercard credit cards, as well as personal checks. For
bounced checks we charge a fee of $20 for the returned check in addition to the amount owed.
