Since 2006 the Vinings School of Art has offered courses in Fine Arts (Drawing, Painting, Sculpture), Language Arts/Spanish & French, and Dramatic Arts/Acting for Kids, and Music Theory/Learning to Play Keyboard/Piano. ALL children's classes are $15 or less for a 1 hr. class with 3 to 8 students, & art supplies are included for art classes. Students may take a single session Art Class at our drop-in rates based on availability or sign up for a 4 class or two back to back class package. Piano classes are offered from August through December & then Jan. through May as a course. Our schedule runs in synch with another school, The Studio Atlanta Dance, which is located a few doors down in the same building. You can arrange to have your child escorted to or picked up at either Studio Atlanta Dance or Kumon, located in the same building as us in Ivy Walk, a few doors down.

No monthly fees, make-ups available for 1 hour Art classes only and only if you call in advance to reschedule as opposed to just not showing up. Fees for 4 one hour art or for 4 language classes that are scheduled in advance are $50 first child, $45 sibling. Single session one hour drop-in's are $15 1st child, $12 sibling, art supplies included. Parents & nannies are always welcome to participate, but are not required to stay. We have a security/sign in gate. Drama and Music Education/Learning to Play Piano are $15 per 1 hr. class, but no drop-in's.
Fine Arts one hr. class (drawing, painting, sculpture) + Foreign Language 1 hr. Class is
$85 for 4 Art + 4 Language = $10.62 per 1 hr. class, siblings $75 for 4 Art + 4 Language Class.

NOTE: Please inquire at the front desk for recommended classes�some classes have more older children, some have more younger children, and ages are just guidelines. Groups differ by instructor style & student capability

DROP IN CLASSES $15 for 1 hour of class, supplies included, $12 for sibling, other siblings $10.50 per class. Drop-in's are on a space available basis.

ADULT Spanish course $100 this a 6 session course that uses food names & food types, cooking, eating food, and restaurant discussion as a fun way to learn Spanish conversation and supporting grammar. Instructor provides handouts with grammar. $25 supply fee covers food items used in class. Call for next course start date.

ADULT ART COURSE Drawing and/or Painting (7 sessions + free make-up)
We have various Classes: Drawing, Watercolors, Acrylic Painting Styles, Charcoal. We teach technique and students can apply the technique to their own unique work of art. You can make a unique item that you want to put in your home--this is not a "copy a painting" class. Learn still life and/or portraits. (LIMIT 7 STUDENTS PER CLASS) $154 for the course--7 classes of 1.5 hours each, 1 class per week + make up for missed class) Check the make up policy for the specific course/date that you are enrolling in. Some adult art courses run in pairs and allow make-ups in either course. Some courses run individually, so the make-up session is a free class one week after the final class in the course. All make-ups must adhere to the particular course make-up policy and be taken as part of the same course (not during some future art course). All art supplies for classes included and the instructor does the clean up. All courses include many different materials and you will work on more than one piece and also one 16 x 20 canvas done with acrylic paint. PROGRAMS

4 Week Packages: We offer one and two hour classes. These classes must be prepaid during the first week of the 4 weeks. The 4 weeks do not have to coincide with a month--it's just every 4 classes.

Single Session Art Class Drop-In for Kids: You may call our school to see if there is space available, or you may come by in person about 10 minutes before a class to enroll in a single session. If capacity is available, your child might be able to join a class at a slightly higher rate than the monthly fee.

Special Courses: For special programs such as adult Spanish, we offer fixed prices for the full course.

POLICIES

Make up policy: For students in a 4 week class cycle of classes in either Fine Arts or Spanish, we allow two make-up classes during the 4 week period. However, once you have scheduled the make-up, we are unable to schedule other make-ups or make-ups for missed make-up sessions! In order to schedule a make-up session, you must call at least 30 minutes before the class you are scheduled to attend begins. Make-ups must be done within 30 days of the missed session or they are forfeited.

Class end time: Our classes finish about 2 minutes before the hour. At this time, students can store unfinished art work, gather art work to be taken home, and help collect the supplies that they used during class. A late fee will be charged for parents that do not pick up their children on time. Children must be picked up when the class ends, and no later than 5 minutes after the class ends.

Refunds: All fees are non-refundable.

Music/Piano: limit 4 students of a similar age and capability to each class
$60 per every 4 one-hour classes--runs as a course Aug thru Dec and Jan thru May with fee schedule

We charge for a 4 week class package that is like a monthly fee only more fair. We know you are not going to have 4 classes in November, December, April, May, etc. due to school holidays. People simply pay the class fee every 4th class. There is a “once-in-a-lifetime” $10.00 registration fee for each new student. If you are paying the one-time single session art class drop-in rate, we do not charge for registration until you decide to enroll in a 4 week class package at the lower class price.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
We accept debit cards and VISA and Mastercard credit cards, as well as personal checks. For bounced checks we charge a fee of $20 for the returned check in addition to the amount owed.
